In a series of tweets Murdoch fired off, he called Scientology a “very weird cult” that is “creepy” and possibly even “evil.”

The 81-year-old press baron, news junkie and avid Twitter aficionado told his 265,382 followers that his posts about the group had already led to hundreds of attacks — and he believes they’ll worsen and could become threatening.
