Will you please reach up there and turn the damned voting feature off? I got sick of that thing over at OCMB. I don't believe Fluffy only got a star and a half for one of the above posts. Someone is voting more than once. And since you can't tell who it is why not turn it off? And why can't I put my username in the box without it returning to Yak? And why can't I use capital letters in my name?

I just want to say that I'm sorry that SCN has destroyed what, for all intents an purposes, could have been a very happy and productive family unit. I mean, I just don't really know what to say to something like this, as I don't want my words to sound hollow and trite.

It seems that SCN has stolen part of your livelihood and I know that although there is a chance to reclaim it, should you wish to do so, it's still a great area of misery. I'm sorry.

I bring up the essay contest because I found the winning essay and was quite impressed with the author &#40;although he uses an alias or whatever it is you call the names we all use&#41; I guess the question is ---is the information valid or is it a scientologist manipulating the reader?

I have felt many times from my child that I was just being handled , but would dismiss this because it hurt too much to admit this. WE non-scios hurt too when we come up against the truth.


This is a familiar &#34;act&#34; I too was asked to sign such a document because if I did not then COS was going to send my child away. She asked me to sign. I did not - but my mate did and they then said she could go back to her post. WHAT BS. I am sure that I am still considered an SP

Tigger, I&#39;ve run into the same thing here and there. It&#39;s rare, but what I do with it, is compile the post, right click in the message typing box, pick &#34;select all&#34; and do a ctrl-c, which copies everything to the clipboard, hit the post button, and if it borks it and the message is lost, I can just type the title again, right click in the text box and select &#34;past&#34;, and viola, the whole post is back where it was.

unmike I agree. I am starting to feel uneasy about who is credible and who is not.

Tigger -- I agree about how much checking is being done. I only hope that this is not part fabrication. I do know this - There are people on the list that I know and when I spoke to one they were doing RPF. They had to get back on &#34;line&#34;. I just would not want the information to be exagerated. Facts are always easier to deal with and it is unnecessary to dramatize what is goin on there. Is there any way to expose the conditions that those in RPF live under??

Hi tigger

I went to see my child &#40;a grown person at this time, but still my child&#41;. We got to speak to her for about 30 minutes outside the building.
She did not look messy, or unhappy, but of course I do realize that the whole time I was being &#34;handled&#34;. I stated to her why I thought she was on RPF and feel I hit home because she laughed. She admitted to commiting some transgressions that had to be corrected and she would soon be off RPF and assigned a new post.

We are going to have another meeting, and I intend to have another before I go back home. I feel there is a lot of exageration from some disgruntled people. I also believe that a lot of the RPFs feel they have no place to go and this is better than nothing. We noticed people in gray shirts planting and cleaning up around trees. 6 people around one small tree, not talking, working rather slowly. They were there for about two and one half hours cleaning up the same tree. We noticed three guys running back and forth. One time they carried three street cones. Another time they carried some box. But of course they trotted everywhere. The same three guys. Not talking and trotting. I don&#39;t like Scientology, I also feel there is a lot of exageration. I am sure some people have a much harder time than others. I feel that the old timers know how to play the game and probably know how to make the RPF OK. They sure do stick together and I am sure lie through their teeth about the conditions they are in. They think they deserve the treatment because of their transgressions and how much they let the team down.

It would help if people could be truthful and not embellish what goes on. I am sure that a lot of it does go on. I read the transcripts from the Lisa McPherson trial and I was horrified. The worst part is that the people who took care of her thought they were doing the right thing. Big brother was sure misguided in this case. It is frightening to think that someday my child could be in this same situation.
The Sea Org is so misguided - and hopefully their eyes will be opened. I am rambling but I hope not too much.

Not at all... rambling helps. even in the day to day crap that people put up with a little &#34;ranting&#34; is a really good, healthy outlet. Additionally, sometimes during a ramble, we expose truths to ourselves that we may not have known were there in the first place. So go ahead and ramble yer brains out.

I think you hit it right on the nose about figuring out who I am, but they have not told the rpfd one. It is amazing how much they do not know outside of their circle. I would like to speak to you off line if possible. I will have more info later and also I feel less nervous about this whole deal. My whole quest is enlightenment and then all I will hope for is routing out. I won&#39;t pull any forceful stunts, because I found that it does not work. I am putting my emotions aside &#40;as much as I can&#41; and going at this whole thing analytically
