Hi Smyrna. Yes, indeed, at one time a while back I posted images of Jesus on the cross dressed in drag, as Santa Claus, as the Holy Ghost, a Pilgrim, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Superman, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and a few others.
It was fun, I enjoyed playing with Photoshop and creating those outrageous characterizations of the imaginary supernatural being that people call Jesus, Christ, and The Lord. As someone who sees this mythic character from the Bible as existing nowhere but in the minds of those who believe it, it really didn’t mean anything to me. It might as well have been Zeus, Hercules, Mickey Mouse, or Zippy the Pinhead.
If you want to believe in imaginary invisible mythological supernatural beings like Christ, Satan, demons and angels that’s your right; but I don’t. What I did was satire (using humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize what seem to me to be ridiculous beliefs).

Those images of Jesus were part of that injunction against “politically correct tolerance of any religious belief.” They were graphic comments about the absurdity of such beliefs. But, even though there were no specific rules against such images, I apologized if they offended anyone and had them removed. Now, after all this time, your using those images in your campaign against me, FACTnet, and its moderation.

I could point to your nasty offensive rhetoric over the years, where you called your “detractors” (other members of this forum) everything from moron, fool, idiot, to cretin and imbecile, which has been in violation of forum rules from the beginning. You got away with it for a long time, and it become part of your character here. Now that user agreement rules are being applied, as they always should have been, you don’t like it. I see your still crying about the agression dodge, and I haven't been posting that much. Maybe I could do the ole two faced, passive, backstabbing type of posting that others including yourself have done. But I prefer the previous because at least I can keep to my principals of being the more stand up of the two.
Smyrna, I really never had that much of a problem with you then. I actually found you quite funny and how you get under all their skins is priceless. I don't fore-see any altercations happening at all. Because we both know where we each stand and haven't had issues now. So the future will be not much different.

Talk about things getting out of hand and being called a troll, well you're looking at someone that is mentioned in wikipedia for being such a troll that a famous Music magazine message board was shut down because of me and um sam and a couple others. LOL So much so that when a group started up another forum for all of the posters to have a place to gather and post I was still the topic of discussion a couple of years later. I never thought for a second that I could leave such a lasting impression on a group of people, and to actually write about it in wiki as well.

LOL I guess he doesn't realize that said message board was where it all started for us. In other words it is where we first met dodge. Sam posting for about 4 years and had been banned....well I can't even count. And I started posting and got banned about 2 or 3 times a month. Talk about trolls...the same folks that complained and got me banned would make up half a dozen fake "me" profiles every couple months and run all over the message boards posting ridiculous bs trying to make me look like a complete idiot. Not once did I ever complain to a moderator...it's just not my style! Nope, back then I had a much different approach to message boards, I guess html and Ascii code bombs were always the funniest revenge, mostly because they couldn't prove who was doing it at the time. lmao I guess so many times of disabling the threads is what eventually got our sandbox shut down..... hehehe

Your biggest mistake is ignoring me Dodge. And part of ignoring me is the points I've made about SC people being attacked before they even got to FactNet, and the left leaning moderators totally ignored our protests about being called racists, Nazis, cult members,STOOGES, etc. for years. So if you want to talk about people getting away with violating forum rules, you either include them or you affirm my argument that you are biased against Christians and SC students in particular, especially this one. Because I don't fall for your games. And that aggravates you, because you can't get away with creating this illusion of superiority of intellect you have and convince me to believe it.

What I meant is that if you were in a discussion with me, and you said "Smyrna' you're being an idiot" I wouldn't consider it flaming or "abuse ad hominem" I'd consider it your way of trying to get me to pay closer attention to your viewpoint, even if I still ultimately disagree. Most of the accusation here of "abusive ad hominem" is an excuse to censor people and distract form the debate at hand. The reason I can say this is because others here get a pass for insulting other, just take a look at Dodge without his Josh hat on. This guy expects us to think he can moderate himself, when all indication is that he's totally out of control and could care less that anyone notices. What's even more ridiculous and outrageous than that, is his superiors don't care this is going on either, and tacitly approve of it.
You know I really have to credit Franklin with accusing the FactNet staff of being anti-Christian years ago. I just thought he was whining about them being hard on him, which they should have been. I also deserved to be banned on occasion, but what I'm alluding to know is the obvious situation we have here, and it looks like FactNet is completely comfortable with being akin to the Southern Poverty Law Center in agenda and sharing a similar reputation among Christians and Conservatives. It turns out Franklin was right all along.

I'm not here to "win" anything. FactNet is perilously close to losing a great deal of credibility regarding the integrity of their discussion boards in the eyes of users.
They are showing this is far from a level playing field. That they don't care is their choice. And guess what? I don't care either. But it still needs to be exposed for what it is.

Open your yes and be honest when comparing the many things SGNG123 said to Franklin when I was banned, compared to the reason I was banned last time. Then tell me how "even" that was. He wasn't even warned, so that negates any consideration of the fact I was banned a few times over six years before. And do I have to mention once again the many times SCers have been called racists and Nazis, hundreds of times, which was one thing I complained about a few times with NO response from the moderators. But I didn't care at the time, since I figured I'd be able to handle it myself, and if that meant calling someone a moron for accusing SCers of those things, then that's the way I chose to handle it.
And now Dodge wants to make that an issue, but yet totally ignores that FactNet set the tone and by their ignoring one camp's pleas for civility, they created an uneven field, which they are now trying blame me for. It's outrageous.

Hi Shadowcat. I don’t post my opinions about religion to “invoke a reaction,” I express my point of view as a member of this forum in the context of a discussion. To me, believing in invisible mythological supernatural beings is not only naïve; but irrational. This is my viewpoint as a rational non-deist. Your opinion that this makes me a “complete and total troll” is without merit; mainly because one of the central characteristics of an internet forum troll is flaming, name-calling, and verbal abuse. I don’t engage in such behavior, Sammael and Smyrna do.
Thanks for letting me know that you’re an infamous troll; and that your essential nature is to post “unsavory” messages to the point of being mentioned in Wikipedia as being responsible for closing websites down. Defining yourself as the Queen of Trolls tells me a lot about you that I was unaware of, and that you’re proud of your history of being an internet forum troll.
You even talk about “HTML and ASCII code bombs” as a form of revenge, and “disabling threads” that caused forums to be shut down…and add a little devilish laugh. Is that a threat? You are more of a forum troll than I realized.

Hi Smyrna. It wasn’t Josh who banned you the last time; it was the Administration of FACTnet, but because Josh is the moderator it had to come from him. I know this because I am in regular communication with those who administer this forum.
You mentioned how students of Shepherds Chapel have been called racists and Nazis “hundreds of times,” and how there were “no responses from the moderators.” That may have been true before Josh took over moderation of the Shepherds Chapel threads; but since he’s been here Josh has mentioned many times that “playing the Nazi card” was a form of ad hominem that will now be tolerated; and that was one of the reason Franklin was banned.
Now that the user forum rules are being taken seriously, these kind of offensive personal attacks are no longer allowed. One would think you would be pleased about that.

Smyrna, I kinda figured that is what you meant but you are one of the few who actually understands what we are saying and even when we disagree on things the playing field is always even. Even within our disagreements there are still some similarities to our beliefs, just applied diffrently. So I guess in a way, there aren't that many disagreements at all.

Reported for what? Mentioning something that happened on another message board 10 years ago? Something I did to a group that was notorious for name calling, especially if it had anything to do with God, harrassing forum posters that liked a particular band, harrassing minors that posted there, creating multiple profiles with usernames that look very similar to mine and a few other posters which included a minor and putting up sick and disgusting pornographic pictures in these profiles. Then posting ridiculous and sick things in order to try and make it look like I was the one posting? Out of all the posters that had been posting there for years my profile was mimicked the most. A group that were always bragging about their drug use and sometimes "criminal" activities, AND a group that spammed the band threads they didn't like with html and ascii code bombs themselves, all because they didn't like this particular band. Yet none of them were ever banned. Not even once. But you can bet they were the first to complain if I fought fire with fire.
Or is it that my opinion is that you are a troll? It is your opinion that sam is a troll and that's ok but when someone feels the same way about you it's not ok.
You just called every person that believes in God, including all of the posters on this thread "irrational". If you do not find that flaming to invoke a reaction then I don't know what to tell you.

A CureZone Troll is generally a person who is extremely skeptical of the main forum subject. He is generally interested to make other forum members look stupid. A troll will sometimes use insults to provoke other people to insult him. Then, he will complain to moderators of being insulted and will request that his opponents get banned from further discussion.
