I know there has been discussion about poor Zeke Boyd and his run ins with those from the Black Panthers and other orgs. after he left. His a report from someone who apparently actually admnistered one of those beatings that may have caused Zeke to have suffered permanent brain damage.
The writer makes one point, during the height of mopup, the NCLC was hesitant about attacking any group that was likely to fight back.

The Hitler-Stalin pact also involved an attack on "imperialist England" and in the conversation I had, the guy pushing the line told me that Hitler's major foreign policy blunder was that he invaded Russia when he should have invaded England. But this argument was very much in line with the kind of thing New Solidarity was writing about. Recall the line that Canaris was "a British agent" etc. and that was Germany's real problem, the Brits wanted to use the Nazis to attack the USSR. The highpoint of German foreign policy was 1939-41 when the "good industrialists" and military guys wanted to be chums with Stalin but Hitler screwed up and invaded, etc.

Of course by the early to mid-1980s when Russia became "Third Rome" and Gorbachev was planning to invade Germany through the Fulda Gap, etc., their line on Russia had changed. Now Russia was secretly controlled by a group of Greek Orthodox monks who controlled the Kremlin from Mount Athnos (?). Something like that. Alas, I was long gone and am sadly fuzzy on the exact details of the dire conspiracy.

But if you look at the Hitler-Stalin Pact period, the Russians did in fact declare England the dire threat to world peace. This is also why the CP became active in the American First/anti-war movement of that time as well. The idea was that the US was being manipulated into war by the evil British. In fact, if you look at my chapter in Smiling Man, this was the argument that Porter Sargent Sr. put out -- with a bit of help from the German Foreign Ministry.

All well and good, but in what world is Willis Carto the equivalent to Adolf Hitler--or Lyndon LaRouche to Joseph Stalin?

It's true that Lyn had the hots for Stalin, in effect--he could never stop talking about how potent he was. Talk about a brutish theology of sex!

But we know, from a geopolitical standpoint, why Hitler and Stalin made their pact. Hitler wanted a free hand in Poland, followed by a free hand in the West--no two-front war. And ultimately, of course, followed by Operation Barbarossa--the long-desired invasion of Russia.

Stalin wanted the eastern half of Poland, and a deal with Hitler--because if Hitler rolled over the West, as he did in the spring of 1940, Stalin would profit too. And, supposedly, some time to prepare for the coming Soviet-German war.

The other question, of course, in the Carto-LaRouche Pact: Who was Hitler, and who was Stalin? On the one hand, you have the Titanic struggle that was World War II. On the other, you have the fantasies of a Lilliputian--Dennis King often refers to LaRouche's Hitler fantasies, but in some circumstances, they could as well be called his Stalin fantasies.

Old-timers in the org remember LaRouche's vicious (and anti-Semitic) attacks on Trotsky for his cryptogenic fevers and all that--remember the last part of Beyond Psych, The Passion and Second Coming of L.D. Trotsky?

Not to mention LaRouche's stomach-turning enthusiasm for Lenin's "voluntarism" and Stalin's ruthlessness (see, for example, the infamous "Stalin Campaigner").

Lyn has always fancied himself a giant among men. There was a time when one of his favorite words was Entschlosseneheit--also, BTW, one of Hitler's favorite words.

    Larouche Palooza 2010!

-Depending on your computer, the TV show about Erica Duggan and her quest to find out what happened to her son may be available on the TV4 website.

Howie has a new column in his blog for perusal.

-Is this a crazy world or what? We have Farakhan upset over hatred against Obama and this editor adds that it tis the cult with the Hitler signs. Farakhan is then worrried about the assasination of Obama while Lyn is also worried on the LPAC site.

    http://www.weaselzippers.net/blog/20...-of-obama.html

-What is funny here to me is that Lyn wants to be compared to Jesus and be better then every other figure in human history and has been relegated to being a joke, a crazy man and now the flip side of David Duke. This guy is being very nice to Lyn who only has followers in the cult .

    http://www.democracyforums.com/showthread.php?p=681124

Geez The Democrat Party had it's Lyndon LaRouche followers and the Republican Party had its David Duke followers..

-How clueless are the LYM and LYMettes? Well, they will delude themselves into calling themsleves Democrats like Lyn, show up at Tea Party rallies with Obama = Hitler signs, have the winner of the Dem primary bounced out of the Texas Dem party and now are upset that the California Dem Party has bounced them from the state convention. I should also add that Harley is the deluded one here since he wrote this release.

Democrats Move to Exclude LaRouche from State Convention

April 1, 2010 — It was confirmed today that it is the unelected party staff at the office in Sacramento which made the decision to deny a booth to LaRouche Democrats at this month's California Democratic Party convention. A check submitted for the booth was returned, with the excuse that there was no more room, the hall was fully booked. A leading official told us that, in reality, a decision was made to keep us out of the hall by unelected party bureaucrats, (aka, "hacks"), since President Obama made a decision to attend the convention. "They don't want him to see your poster with the Hitler mustache," he said. The elected party official said there will be no action taken to reverse that decision.

In recent years, the LYM organization within the Los Angeles County Democratic Committee, the Franklin Roosevelt Legacy Democratic Club (FRLDC), has purchased the booth. This year, though FRDLC's charter was again approved by the County Committee, it is on an unofficial "exclusion" list of the state party. The decision by the Texas State Democratic Executive Committee to "sanction" official Democratic nominee Kesha Rogers, was cited by one of the bureaucrats as a "precedent" for action against LaRouche. There is talk of a possible "loyalty oath," as well, though the leading party official said that he doesn't think that this would be acceptable, given the association of such an oath with the notorious Sen. Joe McCarthy.

-Jabroni carpetbagging on the Alex Jones forum. No one cares there either. What is funny is that I am now seeing more and more references to the cult about it being a scam of the NWO and the real elites to screw people up? Check out the last comment in the next slug. Oops. I used an LC generated word from the past.

    http://conspiracy.ifoday.com/?p=10965

-Simple question, great answers and is the cult backlash from the conspiracy world going to increase to combat carpetbagging? I also rememer times in the past when LYM jabronis would re to these questions. What is hilarious is that not only is the cult called a cult and the web is used against them, but now they have ot deal with the conspiracy crowd that can run rings around any lYM or LYMette. This aint 1976 folks when we could just talk abut the CFR and Trilats and rake in the money.

Lyndon LaRouche has been referred to as a cult leader, a conspiracy theorist, a fascist, and an anti-Semite.

Here's a good article, though a bit old, about Lyndon LaRouche:

What they believe in is *beyond* right or left!

    IT'S JUST CRAZY!

I was most politically active at the height of the LaRouchies 84-88

They were hard to categorize. The best term I can use to sum them up in one word is Strange.

They were for a push by government to put Fusion generators on every block and colonize the moon, but other than that no government, i can recall; kind of like libertarians with a star trek agenda, or trekkies with a libertarian agenda.

Of course too Star Trek the Next Generation had just started at the same time too.

They weren't heard from again after the 88 election, in 92 Ross Perot had their votes.

Neither, it is a fake /controlled opposition to the Zionist-Freemasonic New World Order. The same incidentailly applies to the mainstream so-called right and left in western countries AND the radical 'right and left .

Much of what they say is true, but they are designed to bring discredit to what they say. They also blame the wrong party.

The "Crown" does not really mean the British but the terms "Crown" and "City of London" are interchangable and mean the Zionist central bank owning dynasties headed by the House of Rothschild.
    http://www.henrymakow.com/wary_of_lyndon…

If you come from Ireland check the old Northern Ireland Flag for the six-pointed star (Rothschild star- also on Israeli flag) topped by the a crown = the "city". The occult uses hidden symbolism such as that in Freemasonry.

-More backlash against the cult's carpetbagging and Laroaching.

    http://community.history.com/topic/4507

I had previously pointed out on a different thread how some of the signs at TEA Parties were being held by the Lyndon LaRouch gang. I was pooh-poohed by the the left.

Well, here you go, all you lefties. Here is proof that the radical left has nefarious intentions to disrupt the TEA Parties to present them in a bad light.

This, from a web site that touts it is "anachist news, opinion and much more"

    "CRASH THE TEA PARTIES!

On April 15th thousands of right-wingers will attend rallies in cities and towns across the United States. The organizers of this nationwide day of protest call it a tea party. This tea party movement that emerged only a year ago is a coalition of conservatives, anti-Semites, fascists, libertarians, racists, constitutionalists, militia men, gun freaks, homophobes, Ron Paul supporters, Alex Jones conspiracy types and American flag wavers. If the tea party movement continues to grow in size and strength there is a big chance they will dominate this country in the future. If the tea party movement takes over this country they will really hurt poor people by getting rid of social programs like food stamps, unemployment benefits, disability benefits, student aid, free health care, etc. The tea party movement will say these programs must be gotten rid of because hard-working taxpayers cannot afford to pay for these things especially when the economy is in a depression. There are three options we have with the tea party movement:

    1. Organize counter-protests against the tea party demonstrations, same time, same place. This is probably the best option.

    2. Get individual tea party protesters to leave the right-wing and move to the left politically.

    3. Ignore the tea party. This is the worst option."

The entry goes on to list articles that are critical of the TEA party and

it goes on to list specific TEA Party websites so "you can spy on them".

So a bunch of anarchists intend to "crash" the TEA Parties, but we already know how they operate; violence as they have shown before.

Will the left on this board denounce these actions?

In a way you are right, laRouche does claim to be a democrat, however 99% will not claim larouche (unlike teabagger republicans, the democratic party denounces it's lunatic fringe rather than embrace them!) . )f course you failed retire, to mention these larouche "infiltrators" were there in plain sight carrying the infamous anti-obama (hitler) posters. But...for you I guess, this is a major news scoop. For others who actually read the news it is old hat, very vry old hat.
Old news, as in last year, while the left here can't seem to get enough of talking about George Bush's grandfather.

And where has anyone of leftist leanings on this board ever disassociated themselves from the LaRouche bunch? NEVER.

But you seem more interested in talking about the LaRouche bunch (that the left never talks about, due to embarrassment, I am sure) than current events. Why would that be?

Teabagger Republicans? Thank you for proving that the left seems intent on name-calling as a political tactic.

When has anyone here dissassociated itself with the larouche bunch? When did the topic ever arise retire? I disassociate myself for one. I posted his lame "obama is hitler" poster the other day with larouch's name on it as the producer. You are in outer space retire, seriously.
    -He almost gets it.

What really cracks me up is probably the worst poster I have seen of our current president is the "Obamahitler" one that got so much press, and it was made by the Lefty Lyndon Larouche crowd!!! Of course that didn't stop the press from saying it was the TEA Party that was responsible for it...

Default A la Recherche du Jeff Perdu

Ugh. Has anyone looked at the LPAC site lately?

First of all, whatever happened to Jeff Steinberg? The Weekly Update, or whatever it was called, that he and John Hoefle used to indulge in, has had a different cast of characters for several weeks.

First, we saw John Hoefle and Nancy Spannaus in some distressing videos. It's amazing that after decades of "organizing," these folks still can't talk. (Public speaking, I'm referring to.)

Now, it's stranger yet. This week, the March 31 installment, we have John Hoefle (emceeing, no less), Nancy Spannaus, and Lyndon LaRouche Himself.

    http://www.larouchepac.com/lpactv?nid=14043

And the core of the "update" is a clip from the so-called "ides of March" webcast, in which Debbie Freeman "reads" a message purportedly from a former Cabinet member which Debbie seems to be making up as she goes along. In response, Lyn denounces mathematical economics (thereby following in the footsteps of Joyn Maynard Keynes, Robert Heilbronner, and Friedrich von Hayek, among others).

Then, back to the dialogue of Hoefle, Spannaus, and LaRouche. Nancy says little, but certainly smiles a lot (if that grimace is a smile) at Lyn's witticisms (if those remarks are witticisms).

Lyn natters on about Paolo Sarpi and Adam Smith and Isaac Newton, one of Lyn's great betes noires, since in addition to Latin and geometry, LaRouche couldn't do calculus or understand physics.

So I ask again: Whatever happened to Jeff Steinberg? Is he vacationing in Florida (or, as XLCR suggested, at his time share)? Did he fly to London to try to deal with the Jeremiah Duggan situation?

Or did he finally say, hey, this isn't working out for me?

    Default Remembering Ken, Part 1

With this post I am starting a week of posts to remember Ken Kronberg, his life and death.

He was born on April 18, 1948.

He died on April 11, 2007--three days after Easter that year.

His funeral was held April 19, 2007, the day after his 59th birthday.

I am beginning the memorial posts with the homily preached at his funeral.

Two comments before getting to the homily:

    1. The slug line of the minister's original Word document read: When the values of the organization you work for are in conflict with the principles you believe. (See http://www.kennethkronberg.com/KK/re...il_18_2007.htm)

    2. The quote from Ken that appears below, about "I used to believe that conflict..." was slightly sanitized for the church service, because there were going to be so many Labor Committee members there. What Ken actually said was "When I was 22, I used to believe that the polemical method ran the universe, but now I know it's love."

Homily preached at the Funeral of Kenneth Kronberg

    The Rev. John Ohmer, Rector
    St. James’ Episcopal Church
    April 19, 2007

When Molly, Max and I sat down to plan this service, I asked what their wishes for the service were – what they hoped the service would mean for them and for those gathered here.

Now most of the time, when I ask that question to a grieving spouse and children, I get something of a blank stare, a shrug of the shoulders – (as if to say) I don’t know.

    Not with Molly and Max.

    Without hesitating, really, they answered:

okay, #1) – we want this service to reflect Ken, not us.

#2) (here I started taking notes) Ken was Jewish, his family’s Jewish: even though the service will be held in a church, we want to be mindful of that, respectful of that.

#3) besides, practically speaking, all this is kind of moot, because several years ago, during one of those long car rides where the conversation goes everywhere, Ken told Max what he wanted at his funeral: he spelled it out. (Apparently Ken believed that one’s funeral is not something one leaves to the vagaries of local clergy and grieving families. So he spelled it out.)

And so it is, that we have a funeral service that is all the things Ken was.

Or let me at least suggest five traits, or characteristics, of Ken’s as found in this service.

Number one, Ken was extraordinary. And I mean just that: extra-ordinary, outside the ordinary.

I don’t know anyone else who would say, in a long car drive with their son, “you know, at my funeral it’d be nice to have Beethoven’s Variations for Cello and Piano on “See the Conqu’ring Hero Comes” from Handel’s Judas Maccabaeus…And it should be followed by that poem from the Statue of Liberty, don’t you think?

    Extraordinary!

And in that Emma Lazarus poem is a clue to a second characteristic of Ken: he could be brusque and gruff

    – “not like the brazen giant of Greek fame” – we don’t want big old Colossus-conqueror!, here on our shores we want a woman with a torch, saying, “keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” keep your hoity-toity rich people, we don’t want ‘em…give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, that’s who we want.

    – And here, on the inside front cover of our leaflet, in place of the usual gregarious welcome letter, we have Psalm 3, and not just any Psalm 3, but Milton’s paraphrase, so the first words we’re greeted with this afternoon are

“Lord, how many are my foes,
    How many those
That in arms against me rise…
…rise Lord, save me my God, for thou
    Hast smote ere now
On the cheek-bone all my foes.

    Of men abhor’d
    Hast broke the teeth.

(A little different from our normal, “Good afternoon and welcome to St. James! We’re so glad you’re here!”)

Brusque, and gruff, and yet…a third characteristic of Ken:

at the same time he could be so patient, and such a patient student,

    such a patient editor,
    midwife-ing a good idea.

And a patient teacher: by his request, we’re going to hear Max read us Shelly’s Ode to the West Wind…and no, not just the first and last stanzas, but all 70 lines.

In his life, and now even in his death, Ken is casting a vote of confidence in his students, confident in Max’s ability to read poetry, and in our ability to hear it.

Which brings me to the fourth characteristic of Ken.

    He was a poet.

(He’s way too introverted to allow any of his own poetry to be read today), but
he saw the world through a poet’s eyes,
experienced life with a poet’s heart.

And so no funeral leaflet of his would be complete without a Shakespearean Sonnet on the back cover.

    …a sonnet about love’s fire.

The fire of love that heats water
    And water cannot cool…

…a Sonnet ending with “water cools not love”

And therefore -- it’s no coincidence -- that Ken’s funeral leaflet ends with that line…

…what is the last word Ken leaves us with?

    Love.

And that brings me to my assigned passage, and Ken’s fifth and final, and most important characteristic: love, and Paul’s remarkable hymn to love, first Corinthians 13.

It’s a well-known passage, a passage you often hear read at weddings.

And it’s a remarkable passage, all the more remarkable when we remember the context in which it was written.

Paul wrote the letter to the Christians living in Corinth around the year AD 54— over 1,950 years ago.

Corinth was, at that time, one of the, if not THE, largest and most important towns in Greece.

    Very important seaport
    Garrison town
    Strategic road-juncture
    Capital of the roman province
    Filled with a cosmopolitan crowd

“Corinth” back then was a synonym for power, decadence, opulence…in other words, imagine taking all the power struggles of Washington DC,
    and the wealth of Manhattan
    all the opulence of Hollywood,
all the decadence of Las Vegas
and combining them…and you’ve got a pretty good idea of Corinth.

    So Paul writes to these people;
it is a wake-up call, a call to self-examination and repentance,
So much of the other chapters of 1st Corinthians are filled with explicit and stern instruction and direction …
    Paul criticizes their sexual immorality,
    their arrogance,
    their litigiousness and complacency,
their irreverence and pride and lifestyle.

    He’s very direct!
    But then he says this:

You know, if I say all these things in the most convincing way possible—
“though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,”—

if I am the most eloquent person in the world, but have not charity,
    have not agapę,
    don’t do it with love,
    it’s not eloquent
Eloquence delivered without love makes the same sound as a sounding brass, or tinkling, clanging symbol”—

…the sound of fingernails on a blackboard,

Eloquence without love is nothing but obnoxious noise.

(He goes on to say) “If I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and have all knowledge—”

If I have the wisdom of Solomon, the intellect of Einstein, if I have nine PhDs and have published fifteen books—but don’t have love,

    I am nothing.

    It doesn’t matter.

If I have all faith so as to move mountains—if I have all the faith of Mother Theresa, and give away all I have in solidarity with the poor, if I hand over my body and become a martyr, but have not charity, it profiteth me nothing: it doesn’t help.

The love of which Paul speaks is slow to lose patience, and is kind.

    It does not envy.

It vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, seeketh not her own.

Love does not violate individuality, is not easily provoked,

looks for ways of being constructive,

    is not irritable, or touchy,

    it beareth all things,
    believeth all things,
    hopeth all things,
    endureth all things;
    Love never faileth.

Some time ago, Ken told Molly and Max something very significant, that shed light not only on his life, but on his death, and the manner of his death: he said,

"I used to believe that conflict—attacking everyone all the time—was the way of the universe.

I now know that the universe is run by love.*

When the values you are surrounded by
are in conflict with the principles you believe in,
    it causes pain.

For most of us, that pain is tolerable:

For Ken, it must have become intolerable…too much.

Ken, like the rest of us, saw through a glass darkly.

He knew so much: he was such an extraordinary person; he was, even in his gruffness, patient. He was “glad to learn and glad to teach.”

    He was a poet,

    and until the very end…
    he had faith,
    and he had hope,
    and he had love.

But the greatest of these is love.

A love that was poured into his heart,
    generously given to others,
and passed on to Molly and Max.

    Water cools not love.

    Death cools not love.

    Nothing cools love:

    The last word is love.

    That is very moving Eaglebeak.

Coming up to the third anniversary of Ken's death, it must be so hard for his family. Suicide leaves many questions unanswered sadly.

I didn't know Ken personally but from what the minister said it is clear he was a great man. I'm so sorry he is no longer with us.

Default Sex in the LC-the Brutish sexology of Lyndon LaRouche

    What an interesting week!

LaRouche feeds his youth political pornography like this,

"The whole thing is gone. This will not work; it's gone. So, they have their moment of euphoria; once their genital organs have been exhausted, they will collapse.

"The viagra will only carry them so far."

Then tells them they have to practice sexual abstinence here,

"So, the human sexual act’s ultimate implication is the perpetuation and advancement of an intention whose assigned consequence is the production of new people, whose existence will perpetuate the specific work of the human species, which is the work of qualitative progress of mankind’s condition and progress, and, thus, the advancement of the specifically unique creative-mental powers of the human individual’s ability to serve a yearning intention consistent with mankind’s leap from the bounds of our Earth, to colonize within our Solar System, and, beyond.

It is not the relevant sexual act which is the purpose, but only an essential means. It is an act which is sustained by the commitment of persons to joy in the fulfillment of that embedded intention of our species."

The message: You can only have sex if you intend to produce a new person. And if you do, you have to close your eyes and think about Mars while performing the bestial act. But you are permitted to have sexual fantasies about President Obama anytime of the day.

What is this strange concoction brewing? A breed of sexually perverted political organizers like this one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWj8C4EPV-U, that attempt to use sexual imagery to create disgust for Obama, and hence, his policies. This is a variation on the brainwashing technique used in the 70s, if you take the bait you find yourself opposed to Obama's policies for entirely different reasons than a rational evaluation of the policy.

    Default I am LOST

    ALL:

    Help!!

What happened to the "have fun" attitude/directive of Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr.?

    Isn't the loving embrace fun?

Is there someone on this board that does not have some fun, some enjoyment of the loving embrace INDEPENDENT of the perpetuation of the species?

Why would the Lord Almighty make sex so incredibly enjoyable, day in and day out, for humans at least, if the ONLY purpose was species perpetuation? What about the other health benefits?

    I am LOST.

I thought that deep pleasure was a good thing. It is pleasurable to listen to music; it is pleasurable to use your mind; it is pleasurable (for me and my wife and our friends and thousands of others we know, personally) to take a walk in the woods or on the beach or in the desert or simply sit on the side of a hill, or a mountain and listen and look or close one's eyes and think or not think. To just BE there... to be with God and the beautiful world that HE created for US? Praise the Lord for he has produced a beautiful world for us. Nature is deeply beautiful and nature, via the senses is a deeply spiritual experience. To say otherwise is bizarre. It represents a disconnection with God, a break with our Maker, a fundamental hole in one's relationship to the real world.

Hills, deserts, mountains, beaches, oceans. Just going there and being there soaking in the Lord's perfect work. These are all pleasurable things to do and they help to keep one's balance -- they improve one's work productivity. Indeed, they are essential elements to living a productive life.

Please, explain. Calling all Yutes. Come here and write up an explanation (for, at minimum, an old man such as me, 53 years old).

Something is not consonant with LaRouche's views. I love consonance. Dissonance has its place, and it is worthwhile; indeed dissonance is essential. But consonance is pure love, consonance is pleasure, consonance is God speaking to us and telling us that life is enjoyable and we should have fun. And having fun is good.

Because when we truly enjoy life we enjoy HELPING others, we want to help others, we NEED to help others. We don't need ten thousand pages of rambling diatribes and bizarre theories to KNOW that this is true--that this is a huge part of life.

Am I wrong? Help me. I am LOST trying to understand the intellectual argument that has been put forward. It does not ring true. The tone is "off". It is not in tune with the world as I know it to be. And I am hardly alone.

Rise up, tell the truth, spread the word of God our Maker, the maker of our beautiful world that we can enjoy using our senses AND our brains.

    Default Remembering Ken, Part 2

Below are two of the things that Ken asked to be included at his funeral, as reprinted from the leaflet for the funeral.

    I. John Milton's version of Psalm 3.

    P S A L. 3. Aug. 9. 1653.

When he [David] fled from Absalom.

LORD how many are my foes
    How many those
That in arms against me rise
    Many are they
That of my life distrustfully thus say,
No help for him in God there lies.
But thou Lord art my shield my glory,
    Thee through my story
Th' exalter of my head I count

    Aloud I cry'd
Unto Jehovah, he full soon reply'd
And heard me from his holy mount.
    I lay and slept, I wak'd again,
    For my sustain
Was the Lord. Of many millions
    The populous rout
I fear not though incamping round about
They pitch against me their Pavillions.
Rise Lord, save me my God for thou

    Hast smote ere now
On the cheek-bone all my foes,
    Of men abhor'd
    Hast broke the teeth. This help was from the Lord;
Thy blessing on thy people flows.

II. The Last of the Sonnet Cycle: Sonnet 154 by William Shakespeare

The little Love-god lying once asleep,
Laid by his side his heart-inflaming brand,
Whilst many nymphs that vow'd chaste life to keep
Came tripping by; but in her maiden hand
The fairest votary took up that fire
    Which many legions of true hearts had warm'd;
And so the general of hot desire
Was, sleeping, by a virgin hand disarm'd.
This brand she quenched in a cool well by,
Which from Love's fire took heat perpetual,
Growing a bath and healthful remedy,
For men diseas'd; but I, my mistress' thrall,

Came there for cure and this by that I prove,
Love's fire heats water, water cools not love.

We need to return to THIS thread for continuity. So far, this thread has had 220,964 views since starting. Amazing number.

Chator I have a hunch about Lyn's recent sex opus. I am wondering if this is because there may have been some talk among the LYM and Lymettes over having children and Lyn does not want any of this now in a rerun of the 1970s LC. I alos wonder if there have been some pregnancies among the LYMettes recently. Some of the LYM are made up of children of LCers who did have kids while others had abortions in the past. I was told of one case from a few years ago of a baby born to a LYMette from the LA who died soon after. The obvious question is of the pre and post birth care of mother and child. This was something where the exLYM mentioned that this was very awkward in the office and everyone was inctrusted to not talk about this at all.

Howie has a new video of the cult in Sterling Va for your viewing pleasure. This is a great one which also shows off a PVC pipe addition to the card table shrine. Maybe you get another choice from the dollar menu for the best card table shrine contest going on.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWj8C4EPV-U

The person who did this has a sense of humour. You have to see the whole production to enjoy it.

    Larouche Palooza 2010!

-This person's blog has a picture of a genuine double wide cad tabel shrine with PVC tubing for support. What is a hoot as Howie has written about on his blog is how our two cultists are in such an insular world that they believe that Kesha won the House seat!

    http://punkassblog.com/2010/04/02/no...blican-really/

Not All The Whackadoodles Are Republican, Really!
I WAS going to write a followup today on “Fun Feminism,” since I didn’t really get a chance to finish exploring the assumptions about monogamy and sexual self-control I brought up in the original post, but after yesterday’s exciting and informative trip to the MVA* I couldn’t resist blogging about this instead!

What the heck is that, you might ask? (And more pertinently, what is it doing on state property..? I shot them an email this morning asking that exact question–if I get an answer, I’ll definitely share it.) So I decided to take a closer look:

Notice the awesome “Obama as Hitler” headshot on the far left!…so at this point I’m thinking “Teabaggers…I mean TeaPARTIERS**…oh sigh” but then I started to really look at the rest of the pictures…is that Franklin Roosevelt there perched on top of Obamahitler’s head..? And whattheheck is that map of the world with “New Bretton Woods” inked across it..? And–

While I was staring bemusedly at the table, one of the two guys manning it approached me. “We’re ready to kick Obama out of office!” he said enthusiastically. “How about you?”

“Er,” I said. “Um, so, who are you guys..?”

“We’re supporters of Lyndon LaRouche. We just got a representative elected in Texas…! Did you know that Obama’s conspiring to shut down NASA?” he demanded.

    “Um, no–”

He didn’t object to me taking pictures, he said, but didn’t let me escape til I agreed to take the handouts he pressed upon me and give serious consideration to the merits of Lyndon LaRouche (I didn’t have the nerve to tell him I’d never heard of Lyndon LaRouche before in my whole life; dude was pretty wild-eyed at that point).

So who is Lyndon LaRouche? According to Wikipedia:

Lyndon Hermyle LaRouche, Jr. (pronounced /ləˈruːʃ/; born September 8, 1922) is an American self-styled economist, political activist, and the founder of several political organizations known collectively as the LaRouche movement. He has been a perennial candidate for President of the United States, having run in eight elections since 1976, once as a U.S. Labor Party candidate and seven times as a candidate for the Democratic Party nomination. He is the founder and contributing editor of the Executive Intelligence Review, and has written prolifically on economic, scientific, and political topics, as well as on history, philosophy, and psychoanalysis.

    Okay…

He was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment in 1988 for conspiracy to commit mail fraud and tax code violations, but continued his political activities from behind bars until his release in 1994 on parole. His defenders believe the prosecution was a politically motivated conspiracy involving government officials and a mass-media brainwashing campaign.[1] His appellate attorney, Ramsey Clark, a former U.S. Attorney General, argued that the case represented an unprecedented abuse of power by the U.S. government in an effort to destroy the LaRouche movement.[2]

LaRouche provokes sharply contrasting views. His supporters see him as a political leader in the tradition of Roosevelt and Martin Luther King, Jr., and a brilliant thinker who has been unfairly persecuted, while critics regard him as a cult leader, a conspiracy theorist, a fascist, and an anti-Semite.[3] Norman Bailey, formerly with the National Security Council, described LaRouche’s staff in 1984 as one of the best private intelligence services in the world, while the Heritage Foundation has said that he leads “what may well be one of the strangest political groups in American history.”[4]

Indeed! So what would a LaRouche presidency strive to bring us..?

#colonization of the planet Mars by 2025
#the screening and quarantine of AIDS patients
#low interest rates and opposition to the Gramm-Rudman balanced-budget law
#opposition to environmentalism, health maintenance organizations, outcome-based education, gay rights, abortion, and the nuclear disarmament movement
#opposition to the legalization of recreational drugs
    # opposition to the idea of man-made global warming–LaRouche proposes that cosmic ray radiation, including that from the Crab Nebula, “determines much of the climate on Earth”.
    # opposition to the 1991 Gulf War and the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
    # opposition to deregulation. According to EIR, “LaRouche has consistently called for reregulation of utilities, transportation, health care (under the “Hill-Burton” standard), the financial (especially the speculative markets) and other sectors, and a return to traditional American-System practices, set aside over the past 40 years.”
    # opposition to the United Nations and any other international organization
    # proposal of the “Homeowners and Banks Protection Act of 2007,” which would freeze mortgage rates, ban foreclosures and put the banking system through a bankruptcy reorganization.

Wowie! …hey, at least it explains both the NASA remark and the picture of FDR proudly adorning the top of their table. Definitely NOT Republican, in spite of the hatin’ on gay people and abortion and global warming! …you learn something new every day, you know…

*That’s “Motor Vehicle Administration,” for those of you living in states that use the more traditional “DMV” appelation (Department of Motor Vehicles).

**For those of you who are under the impression that the “Tea” Party isn’t just a particularly fussy faction of the “Republican” Party but is actually an independent political party, I don’t know how else to put this to you…you’re wrong.

-The cult makes SLATE and does some more carpetbagging.

A few days ago, I drove through Wasilla. (That's Sarah Palin's Alaska, in case you forgot.) A group of stern-looking men and women, bundled against the cold, stood by the side of the highway holding a very large banner bearing the legend: "Lyndon LaRouche Says Impeach Obama Now!!"

-A purpose for the cult. Have you ever seen any acts of terrorism recently where Lyn did not say that it was The British?

Nice to see some Yellow Journalism in Russia for once though.

Georgian yellow press blamed Putin. LaRouche blamed British Intelligence Services. Chineese yellow press blamed CIA. Iranian yellow press blamed Mossad. Israel yellow press blamed Islamic Guard. Etc.etc.etc. The bone was thrown to the jackals.

LaRouchies: impeach Obama. Obama + mustache = Hitler. p.s. LaRouche spied on anti-apartheid activists, reported to SA govt.

    She's a crazy LaRouchiate.

As is the one running against Frank.

Also, colonize Mars by 2050? That is some insane $hit.

LaRouchiates are the main ones at the Tea Parties who have make the media seem like we are racist by holding signs comparing Obama to Hitler.... They are no friends of liberty.

I defiantly want to stir the pot :

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaRouche_movement

From what I have read about them I don't think it would be a good idea for us to endorse their candidates.

    But Kesha holds her own

Yeah, but she is cute, that's gotta count for something

    definately a sexy texan

Under your argument the American people voted for Barack Obama, doesn't that mean they want "Hitler" healthcare?

LPAC does make the Tea Party look racist and extremist.

I never heard of this woman before, so I don't care that she won her primary, but she is still a crazy LaRouchiate.

Yeah I can compare the first year of Obama and FDR, and thank God Obama isn't as radical as FDR was.

The LaRouche movement wants nothing more than the expansion of government, at an even more rapid pace as today

[b]In watching this video pretty fast from the site about Kesha, notice that there is no mention of Lyn in this carpetbagging.

-Tea Party anger at being carpetbagged?

    http://theeprovocateur.blogspot.com/...ty-racism.html

Lyndon Larouche and Tea Party Racism
We've all heard all the reports of racism at Tea Party rallies. Here is something you aren't likely to hear. Most of the signs associated with the racism are signs made by followers of Lyndon Larouche.

Larouche is a fringe politician known for his belief in a plethora of conspiracy theories. His followers are also known to find a spot at most rallies, no matter the tenor of the rally itself. They hate all sides of the government and their vision is little different from anarchy itself.

In fact, most of the signs associated with racist slurs against Obama at Tea Party rallies are made by followers of Larouche and not the Tea Parties. For instance, charges of racism stem from photos of Obama in a Hitler like mustache. In fact, this is a photo that comes directly from Larouche's site.

In fact, Larouche believes that Obamacare is grounds for impeachment.

No American patriot contemplates the prospect of impeaching the President of the United States lightly. Thus, despite the fact that President Barack Obama has for months been openly proposing and campaigning for a health care policy which is modeled directly on that of the Hitler regime, and which will lead, if implemented, to the kinds of genocidal results for which that regime, and many of its adherents, were condemned for Crimes Against Humanity after World War II, patriot Lyndon LaRouche has refrained up to this time from calling for him to be impeached. Back in late July, LaRouche declared that the President was "impeachable" for his Nazi health care "reform." The President, and those with the potential to bring him under control, failed to listen, or change course. Instead, we are at the very threshold of the President and his henchman ramming through this same Nazi plan, which would serve as a giant step toward a genocidal dictatorship. Now, as LaRouche's Jan. 6 statement argues, impeachment must be put squarely on the table.

Under the U.S. Constitutional system, the purpose of impeachment is the protection of the nation, by removing from high office a Federal official who is causing grave injury to the nation, its people, and its Constitution. Impeachment is not a criminal proceeding; its purpose is not to punish a wrongdoer, but to prevent him or her from doing further, irreparable harm to the country. The question of prosecution, or imprisonment, comes later—if at all.

That's Larouche, not the Tea Parties. It's also something you'll never hear from the MSM as they paint the Tea Parties as racists. The reporters never bother to see exactly who it is that is making the racial slurs. The Larouche folks are at every rally. They are the ones most prone to use words like Nazis and it is those words most associated with racism. Yet, the same MSM attaches these racist words to the Tea Parties.

Channel 4 documentary - lost abroad

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Has anyone seen this, it's still on at the moment and it's just awful and heartbreaking to hear about what these peoples children went through. The jeremiah duggen case really got me, if know one knows about it i'll try to explain it in short.

Jeremiah was a young english student of jewish decent studying in paris, he then became involved with an anti iraq war group who organized protests. He met 10 men in paris apparently near his university, and was encouraged to travel with them to germany for a protest against the iraq war. For some reason after a few days i think jeremiah called his mother terrified at 5.30am telling her he wanted to come home and that she should come and get him.

When his mother asked where he was and how to spell it, she got only the first three or four letters then the phone was cut. Now this is very strange because what happened later was jeremiah was seen later running down a motorway dodging cars, he was hit by one but continued running but was then hit by quite a few cars which in the end killed him. There was no post mortem or investigation into his death. The german authorities have closed ranks and nothing is being done to help catch whoever was involved in his death.

I hope his mother and his family get their justice for jeremiah

Here is something about the group who he met in paris:

Yes...sort of. She stated that Tea Party people were carrying swastikas, which carries the clear implication that the neo-Nazis were involved, and there has been not one bit of photographic evidence of this. The only thing that HAS been found were posters of Obama with a Hitler moustache... a poster created by LaRouche Democrats... and there's not accounting for that gang. Doubt who was responsible for that? This is the exact image that was on those posters... and this is the LaRouche Pac web site.

    Default Remembering Ken, Part 3

The following passage was read at Ken's funeral--drawn from the Wisdom of Solomon, regarded as canonical by Catholics and as apocryphal, but sound moral teaching, by Jews and Protestants. It was one of a number of passages offered for such occasions in the Book of Common Prayer's Burial of the Dead Rite I, and seemed especially appropriate.

But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and there shall no torment touch them.

In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die: and their departure is taken for misery,

And their going from us to be utter destruction: but they are in peace.

For though they be punished in the sight of men, yet is their hope full of immortality.

And having been a little chastised, they shall be greatly rewarded: for God proved them, and found them worthy for himself.

As gold in the furnace hath he tried them, and received them as a burnt offering.

And in the time of their visitation they shall shine, and run to and fro like sparks among the stubble.

They shall judge the nations, and have dominion over the people, and their Lord shall reign for ever.

They that put their trust in him shall understand the truth: and such as be faithful in love shall abide with him: for grace and mercy is to his saints, and he hath care for his elect.

    —Wisdom of Solomon

<i>Howie has a new video of the cult in Sterling Va for your viewing pleasure.</i>

To be sure, it's the same youtube video that chator just posted. It's not that everyone's yelling "dibs" on spotting links, but even in the negligible realm of <i>link spotting</i>, but give credit where credit's due.

As per the focus on twitter -- this could easily be a twitter comment.
    http://bangpound.posterous.com/larou...mustache-hitle
Other than possibilities like that, shouldn't they be embracing twitter? John Quincy Adams has a twitter feed!
    http://twitter.com/JQAdams_MHS

Interesting item from the review of the "Lost Abroad" special, of some note, and the other case profiled.

    http://entertainment.timesonline.co....cle7084742.ece

<i>For the Duggans, the German authorities’ uninterest in pursuing the death of their boy Jeremiah after he had fallen in with the secretive, right-wing LaRouche organisation, combined Teutonic legal precision — suicide is not illegal, so how can aiding it be? — with, one began to suspect, cultural guilt about its own political past. After eight years, mother Erica confessed she did not have the “strength” to give up. Give up, would have so nearly been my advice to the Hawkers, except at the very end it turned out that their efforts to keep alive Lindsay’s name and that of her suspected killer, Tatsuya Ichihashi, had paid off. He had been recognised by a plastic surgeon about to operate on his face. He is awaiting trial for murder. It was an incredible victory for her father Bill Hawker but, unlike Lohan, he shed no tears, although he had earned them.</i>

    ....................................

Something of note with this article, on the Republicans running against Pelosi in her district.
    http://articles.sfgate.com/2010-03-2...is-fundraising
<i>Pelosi, who faces no Democrats in June, will "take a look" at who wins the GOP primary in her district and "go from there," her political director, Jennifer Crider, said.</i>
    What? No Summer Shields?
    ........................................

The Provocatuer post is annoying. It's as dishonest as when I recently saw Bill Maher end a commentary on the Tea Party movement by showing the Obama with Hitler Mustache (though I wonder if Maher knew what he was doing in defining the Movement as a cult by referencing obliquely an actual cult).
<i>. Here is something you aren't likely to hear. Most of the signs associated with the racism are signs made by followers of Lyndon Larouche.</i>
I believe this is the sign "Example Cause celebre" that's being pointed to by liberals at the moment is:

I was confused in thinking that Chator was reposting an earlier video of a male LYMster who kept on saying "bitch". This new one is absolutely hilarious. I need a crazy member spread sheet set up to keep track of these.

When Howie mentioned Don Phau I thought of how Don is truly in the Bizarro World under Lyn. Don, along with other old timers had his heatlh ins cut last year. He has some very serious health issues. Poor Don may find it impossible to get private health ins under the then existing problem of pre existing conditions. What does Don Phau do? He blows a few more months of his life supporting the cult which is against a health bill which would help Don with his pre existing condition(s). Who practiced Nazi like health care in deeming Don as too expensive to cover and issued the LC Death Panels on many older members? Try looking at Lyn , Don you usefull fool.

Maybe Don has some first hand experience with kids and video games? Think again as he gladly went to Prison for Lyn instead of thinking of his family and "G" hit the road with the kids. Don is an expert on The Beatles being Satanic and the horrors of their manager being gay.

Yeah, Lyn loved you so much Don that he was ready to make a deal to keep HIMSELF out of prison and you find your ass off of the Leesburg health ins plan.

The Beatles sang about "All you need is love" while Lyn signs "All I need is a cult" and Don hums along.

I like watching those videos of people confronting the LaRouche cultists and watching the pathetic responses the political whizes make in defense of their stupid and pathetic signs, etc. However, it has become incresaingly impossible to watch any of the videos posted by LPAC or the other derivatives to continue to hear Orwellian double speak and sophistry. This one video on the Obama visit to the Queens where he apparently bows to the Queen, and is described as implementing not just Hitlerian policies, but the worst of the Hilterian Policies (of course never mentioning the mass murder of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals and communists/socialists), but doesnt' even give Obama props when he removed the bust of Churchill from the White House (pretty radical for a supposed servant of the British). Nor do they mention what conservatives were going wild over, the visit of Obama to see the President bow to the Saudi King. Apparently that doesn't cause LaRouche any consternation since he has been sucking up to the Saudis at least since the late 1970s.

A few things to bear in mind about this, most LYM were recruited between 2000-2004, around Lyn's presidential campaigns and the Iraq war, like Jerimiah Duggan. Most were in their early twenties then and are now in their late twenties or early thirties, like yours truly. As we all know females are their most fertile in their twenties, and are generally not encouraged to have kids after 35 years old because of an increased likelyhood of complications, this puts the LYMettes that want to have kids into a desperate kind of situation. I know of at least one LYM couple from the LA office that got married. Elkie, a Mexican girl I met in 2000, ended up marrying Charlie Spies, an ex-stand up comedian and divorcee. I don't know if she ever got pregnate by him, or if they had a kid, or if they did, what happened to it, but that might be the LYmette you are talking about. I also know that back in 2000 the LA office was actively discouraging male/female relationships, they intentionally broke up Cody Jones' relationship with Erin, who ended up getting shipped to Germany to "fix" the youth movement problems there. She eventually quit in 2004 after being convinced she was in a cult.

    Default Remembering Ken, Part 4

When Ken taught poetry classes for all those years to the Labor Committee kids--some regrettably now in the LYM, more (thank goodness) not--he used Shakespeare's sonnet cycle heavily. In addition to Sonnet 154, "the little love god," which I reprinted previously, here we have two other fitting sonnets. I threw in some bold for emphasis on particularly apposite lines.

    William Shakespeare

    SONNET 116

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
    That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.

If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

    SONNET 146

Poor soul, the centre of my sinful earth,
    These rebel powers that thee array;
Why dost thou pine within and suffer dearth,
Painting thy outward walls so costly gay?
Why so large cost, having so short a lease,
Dost thou upon thy fading mansion spend?
Shall worms, inheritors of this excess,
Eat up thy charge? is this thy body's end?
Then soul, live thou upon thy servant's loss,
    And let that pine to aggravate thy store;
    Buy terms divine in selling hours of dross;
Within be fed, without be rich no more:

So shalt thou feed on Death, that feeds on men,
And Death once dead, there's no more dying then.
