Hmmm...interesting statement. I&#39;d say yes. For a Mormon, the BOM is true. For a Satanist, the book of Satan is true. For a Muslim, the Koran is true. For a Christian, the Christian bible is true. For a Jew, the Jewish bible &#40;Tanakh&#41; is true.

To say there is one true book is to also say that there is one true religion. Every believer thinks their religion is true. It doesn&#39;t really matter. If someone&#39;s religion makes them an ethical person, then that is good enough.

The Jewish Bible is truer to me because it came first, believes in good works, whether you believe in god or not. There is no requirement in the Jewish Bible that one believes in god to be a good person and do good works. Only the xtian bible claims the need for faith in Jesus as the son of god for salvation. The Jewish bible is a map to live by and the christians copied and butchered it in the process. I do not have to believe in god to see that the Jewish Bible is a better book to use a a guide to live by.

That is only yaakov&#39;s sect&#39;s interpretation of the Jewish Bible. There are many other sects of Judaism and interpretations of the same text. There are no atheist guide books to live by. We have been over this before. Atheism is simply a lack of belief in god. Very simple. No religion, no sunday school, no anger. Simply remaining as I was born. I favor the Jewish Bible simply because it came first. That is enough for me. The rest of the religions, christianity, islam, mormonism, all sprang from this bible.
