What is meant by a "Scholar?"

I use the KJV but I don't consider myself a scholar.

i think a scholor is some one who is learned in what ever. i dont consider my self a scholor either

i think that the "learned person"is one definition, but i also consider it to be a person who is seeking knowledge...i know that's not quite Websters, but it is linear...scholer to school...school to student...student to one who seeks knowledge

We use Scholar in a different sense than the original meaning. Scholar mean a student.
