Hinduism is very evil!

I live in Philadelphia, PA, and over the last few years there's been a concerted push to bring Kundalini Yoga into various studios around the city.
I took some classes, and the connection between 3HO and Yogi Bajan was very much kept under wraps. Only when I attended a longer, full-day class did the turbans, bizarre theology, name changes and mind control exercises become part of the practice.
I spoke to some ex-members, and apparently there is a feeling that Kundalini Yoga missed the financial boat by not being mainstream enough. So, they are softening the "level one" phase of recruitment. I also heard of a great deal of infighting among the heirs of the cult, as to who will eventually take control.
In the end, I was very alarmed by what I saw, especially since most of the people teaching the lower level classes did heavily recruit for the seminars and teacher trainings, where the cult indoctrination began. I think there was a feeling when Yogi Bajan died that the cult would fade, but I observed that the older members are very much wanting to keep it alive.
My advice: don't ever take a Kundalini Yoga class. If your gym or studio is offering them, let the manager know of the connection to 3HO. And steer clear.
I witnessed classic cult behavior.

Hi Easeltine. In what way is Hinduism “very evil?”
Also, Kundalini Yoga has little to do with Hinduism, besides the word yoga. It's a bastardized version of Sikhism mixed with western astrology.
Kundalini is the Coiled Serpent, a primordial force that lies dormant at the base of your spine. There are yogic practices that can wake her up…if you want to dance with the snake.
I understand that most Hindus do not believe in Dynamic Yoga to wake up the Kundalini.
This is an extreme form of Hinduism, and my above post made it seem like all Hindus believe in this.
All Hindus do not, and my post should have qualified that.
I oppose Hinduism, and the original very reason for the religion, but the religion as a whole would not go this far.
