The book that Admin pointed to by Steven Hassan seems like it has some very worthwhile ideas in it. I did not want to go off against Atheism on that Thread. Steven Hassan, would agree with what I am posting below that a person can be caught in a cult of Atheism. Communism, is an example of an Atheistic mind control cult, and Atheism becomes a religion to people.

The reason for these deaths is the devaluation of human life due to the ideas in Atheism.
Atheism gives no intrinsic value to human life. This is why the Left can understand that a fetus is a living being from the very moment of conception and have no problem at all with abortion, or really even infanticide. The Atheistic Left does not care if they destroy the life of a human being. When it comes to the statistics that I am presenting regarding death by Communism, the Atheistic Left has no problem with these abuses, for them it is simply a method to control over population. “If they should rather die they should do so, and decrease the surplus population.” A funny difference between the Communist Chinese and Atheistic Left in the United States, is the worst Sin to the Atheistic Left in the United States, it is the Sin of cigarette smoking, (no I have never smoked). In the Socialistic City of Santa Monica it is against the law for an apartment, or condo dweller, to smoke in or by their home, they have a whole bunch of laws against smoking in that weirdo city.

If the Atheistic Left had its way in the United States regarding over population they would:
1. Make one child per couple laws. This results in the drastic lowering of the work force, therefore, not enough working people to maintain the elderly. This is exactly what is presently happening in the Shanghai province of China due to their drastic measures of population control.
2. Practice abortion and infanticide without any laws. That fact is that even the smallest human life, viable life, is entitled to Constitutional Rights and protection.
3. The logic that is facing China is that due to their drastic decrease in population using these unethical methods, (even forced abortion at third trimester), they are going to have to murder the people in their population that are elderly. China does not have the work force to support the elderly. The logical conclusion of the Chinese Atheist will be to kill off all people around 65 years old.
4. Practice Eugenics. They would immediately kill any person with mental retardation, downs syndrome, handicapped etc. Any person that represents a burden to society.
5. The Atheistic Left is intolerant of anyone with a different worldview. The Atheistic Left would imprison and kill all people of faith with a different worldview as they did in Nazi Germany, and of course still do in Communist countries. Any person of any religion is in the same boat as a Christian like me, you would be branded as a person that is reprobate by the Atheistic Left regarding their religion of Atheism.

The Bible states it very clearly:

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” Romans 1:20-22

Well spoken easeltine. Despite attempts to take our focus off of it, the greatest threat to humanity is Atheist totalitarianism. Communist Atheist China, a literal slave nation ruled by cruel slave masters, is the largest Cult on the planet and the greatest threat to humanity promoting the Islamo Fascist terrorism of Iran and it's splinter cults of murderous terror. China's atheist elite do not believe that humans have eternal souls and that there is a Supreme Power that they are ultimately answerable to. And their murderous tyrannical acts toward the Chinese people and the rest of the world prove it. Lame attempts to disassociate Atheism from the cruel murderous acts of Communist regimes just don't cut it. They are atheists because they are communists and they are communists because they are atheists. And that combination is deadly to humanity.
