God bless you for reaching out to those men and women.Actually sounds kind of exciting to do that.Do u have to go to hotels inbetween. Where do you get the funds do go cross country? Well anyways keep doing what your doing.
Back in 1985 I went to basic trainning at Ft. MCcullen AL. After my first head shaving it was about two weeks until we got to go to the barber for another hair cut. As we lined up in formation our head Drill Sargent would stand up in front of the group and he would pull out his copy of the Army Regs. He would flip to the proper hair cut section and begin to read. After reading this section he would ask us all, "Do You Understand What A REGULATION Hair Cut Is???" And we would give the taught responce; YES DRILL SARGENT!! Than he would look around as if to see if he was in the clear, and he would reach up and romove his Round Brown (hat) to reveal a very nicely done hair cut called a High & Tight! Which was out of regulation as far as the Book Said. Then he would say something in the order of, "I CAN'T TELL YOU TO GET YOU HAIR CUT LIKE MINE, YOU DO KNOW WHAT THE REGULATIONS ARE" AND THEN HE WOULD LOOK AT US AS IF TO SAY (WHILE RUBBING HIS HEAD AND SMILEING AT US) "BUT YOU DO KNOW WHAT KIND OF HAIR CUT TO GET DON'T YOU" Well for the sake of not wanting to be in trouble we all got high & tights. We all looked the same and no one dare question the drill sargent about his willingness to, shall we say; Strech the Book a little! I sort of see the ntcc church in this light. They read the Bible they qoute the scriptures verbatum and then say " but, you know that I am a man of God and God said to do things this way. And thats even if there out of regulation! This is the way I see it. Both sides were pulling on either arm saying they'er lying come with us!! I think their both wrong I've chosen to stay away from both even though I know people in both. How much of, "The Bible says this or that, but this is the way WE want it done" can one take. I was with ntcc for 18yrs. I have a little insight.
You know, I ride with a Christian Motorcycle grope
(Tacoma Chapter) Hence the name "Road Captain" it is the office I presently hold. We ride all over the country evangelizing and spreding the good news of Jesus everywhere we go. Yes even into the mouth of the devil to the 1% biker gangs. Hells Angels, Bandidos, Humbres, you name it we go there! Yes it is a little nerve racking. But God is good and he is doing a fantasic job of getting those bikers to the cross. But it works!! There is salvation out side the wall!!
All you that know me, and those who will come to know me I hope will pray for me and i'll keep drinking whiskey (JUST KIDDING!! Sheeeesh mellow out.
Anyway God Bless!!

Sounds great Steve. After driving through Sturgis South Dakota...one realizes how many souls take to the road on "bikes". I've since met a few folks who are doing what you are doing. I don't think I would like to get my hair smashed by a helmet...and I don't think I could ride side-saddle in my dress...but it sounds like something I would like to try at some point in my life. Just to see what it is like...and to see what folks who live that kind of life are like.
How do you stay "funded"?
I wish you would let Brian and I know about that aspect of it.
His email address is Pelfdaddy@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Tracy
Well Hello!!
I can tell you how we stay funded. Out of our own pockets! I pay for my own gas and hotels or camping. Tracy, I was in Sturgis in August (I think) We had a great time. There are souls being reached!!
Anyway, more later.
Hey Steve!
Sounds like a cult to me. I bet they make you wear wing-tip biker boots and white muscle shirts ONLY, don't they? I know the type. Probably because the leader drives a Harley, EVERYONE drives a Harley huh? I bet you all get letters saying that Sturgis is a REQUIRED convention or else you'll risk losing your motorcycle license. Run, Steve, run!!! Before you're another statistic. I'd hate to think what happens to you if you leave a group like that!
(Just havin' a little fun... It's good to hear from you. Email me if you care to: cewaltermire@cox.net)

You are doing great thing for the Lord Jesus Christ. We got to get it to them where they aer at. Paul said that Ibecome all thing to all people that I might win some.
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you bunches
That's funny!! Still laughing.
The only thing I'm required to do is have FUN!
There's a guy here in the Tacoma area, he was what you would call a 1%'er. Well let me back up. The history of the term 1%'er comes from the Hell's Angels storied past. The Offical Motorcycling Association in the USA is called the AMA. Or American Motorcycle Association. That groupe lobbied the Government over something; "I can not recall" Why. (in an attempt to gain vavior with them I suppose) Thier offical statment said "99% of all motorcyclists in the US are good law abiding citizens with familes and mortgages and such like!" Well of course the OUTLAW biker groupes took offence to this and said OK, if they are the 99%, then we are that 1%. Hence the name 1%'er. (OUTLAW BIKER GROUPS!) Anyway, there is a guy here in Tacoma that was addicted to crack, was seperated form his wife and kids and living in the streets. We met him at our Friday Night Feed. (we feed the homeless every Friday night) He came over to our table and started talking to us. Our president Prayed with him and Pow! (he's still a sinner) Not really! He's in rehab getting off the crack! He's back with his wife and kids and he's really cleaned himself up! That is just one story, There are plenty more. Thats the reason I keep saying "There is salvation outside the wall!" It's not just happining in Graham!! ooops was that not supposed to leak out? sorry.
God Bless you, more later!

Road Captain,
Praise God for what you're doing. Some of those 1%'s can be very scary. My parents both used to be bikers (well, my dad still is actually), so I've met many, many bikers of both sides...the 99% and 1%.
I commend you for what you are doing. Too many people are completely put off bikers by how some of them look. Not all of course, but many of the die-hard bikers have a certain appearance. Since this appearance can look menacing at times, there is a fear that goes towards many bikers.
My own parents have had dealings with the Banditos, so I've heard a few stories. All my prayers go out to you and others like you! What you are doing is Great!
Thank you...I can't do it. The motorcycle vibration makes my backside itch so bad, I can't stand it!Maybe that's just with Harley's...I don't know. I've never been on anything else.
God Bless You! Ashley
Thank you all for your kind words! It really is an (interesting) ministry.
forever_his_child; try riding a Honda Goldwing. No Vibration! Corse don't tell anyone I suggested a HONDA....hee hee.
