The indication of the above quote is that this web should be about doctrine and not personal attacks. I whole heartily agree Real Truth!

D.Owen do you think these posts contained any “gentleness“? Is this your best attempt at being honest? Is your best effort at not being mean or rude? I would not want to read your posts if your were not trying to restrain yourself.

Dear Brothers
I implore you to be at least civil. You do not have to agree with us on doctrine or even our personal experiences. You do not have to be “mean or rude” quoting from D.Owen? If I say for example, I believe that HH teaches salvation by works (by the law). You may not agree with that statement and clearly you two do not believe that statement. However, by stating HH teaches salvation by works, am I personally attacking you or Gary Linzer or Blair Adams etc.? I do not think so. I have a good friend that is an agnostic, I challenge his beliefs often as he does mine. We still remain friends.

Please I beg you both to stop the name calling and personal attacks. I believe that the leadership and the members of HH have personal integrity and do not engage in immorality, drunkenness, child beating, incest etc. I believe they are kind and decent people. Though I have been gone from HH awhile there is rarely a day that goes by I do not miss people in HH.

My purpose for being here is two fold. First reason is to give people who may be considering joining HH another side than what they hear at the picnic’s, weddings or Friday nights. Second reason is for the members who slip off to the library or have internet to know there is life after the fellowship should they choose to leave. I do not attack personally the leadership or the members of HH. Ninety-nine% of the posts I have read do not attack personally the people in HH. We do express our thoughts regarding HH doctrine. There is a difference in personal attack and disagreeing with doctrine, it is a difference thus far the two of you do not see.

Please disagree with us all you want, but don’t continue to lower yourself to the level of personal attacks like you are now. If you don’t think you’re doing this just re-read the posts above.

I am in no way putting you in the same place as RT and D.Owen. In previous posts I have told you what I think of you. I was using what RT wrote to you and the scripture that he used to try and provoke some civility.
