Hi, Bill. I'm a new poster, however I have been reading for a while. You said in a post last September that John Steele from New Zealand is a false prophet. I'm just wondering why you say this?

I'm sorry to say that Bill_Mack has an unbalanced view of church history, and unfortunately tends to label people using guilt by association. It is not wise to base your view of what is going on from his postings.

I'm not really even speaking about bill mack personally.. I do not know him. I'm really speaking about the content of many of his postings. We need to pray for him.

To directly answer your question, without helpfulcommentary&#39;s smokescreen commentaries, I can say that I have witnessed firsthand John and Julie Steele&#39;s so-called ministry when I was a member at the Minneapolis Maranatha. To be absolutely sure, I have not only audio recordings of his prophecies -- directed at myself and others -- but I also have sat under his sermons, taken notes, and have audio recordings of same. One might cut him some slack if they thought he is unwittingly duped by pathological liar and theives like Bruce and Johnnye Lynn Harpel who systemattically lie about who Maranatha is to high school and college students as well as to University of Minnesota officials. I am generally not skeptical because of human foibles. But when I researched the 17th century roots of the NOLR, I then could correctly see who John and Julie Steele were in light of that history.

They come across humble, gentile, caring, but the prophecies said in the Name of the Lord are really those of a fortune-teller pre-pumped with advance information about students from private meetings with the pastor.

John and Julie Steele are headed for a Matthew 7 if they don&#39;t wise up and smell the coffee.

It is commentaries from decievers like helpfulcommentary that keep high school and college students locked into the NOLR &#34;Harry Potter&#34; Christianity that has been debunked centuries ago by spirit-filled scholars in England and elsewhere. John Steele operates as a NOLR &#34;Trans-local&#34; apostle. The definition for that I do not have the time to repeat here, but in short, he is without doubt a false prophet and false apostle. If anything does get spoken and later turns out correct and tru, it is &#42;inspite&#42; of Steele and his Rosicrucian compatriots rather than because he was &#34;such a clean vessel of the Lord&#34; etc. ad nauseum.

Another reason why John and Julie Steels are false ministers is that they are in a covenantal and legal agreement with Bruce and Johnnye Lynn Harpel. The corporate papers are available from state authorities for public inspection. Bruce Harpel is the leader of the Minneapolis Maranatha cult. This liar and deciever illegally defrauded me out of well over $5000.00 and continues to defraud high school and college students on a daily basis on the University of Minnesota campus the very same way the rest of the Maranatha/Morning Star International Latter Rain compound uses deception all over the world. When they don&#39;t refuse to answer direct pointed questions about what their religion is about, they offer vague answers and dance around their sordid history.

John Steel simply cannot be a Christian minsiter of any sort and be in a covenant with the New Order of the Latter Rain cult or specifically in league with a pathological liar and deciever such as the Harpels. Over thirty years of deception doesn&#39;t leave any room for &#34;oh, I never knew that&#34; either.

i received a huge amount of information and well researched material from Bill Mack some years ago. The things that he says about certain movements and individuals are very accurate, if you know the historical background and sources that he bases his knowledgte on.

i know he is seen quite controversial here on FN and i guess thats ok.
But i can only testify from my own experience, and - as i said -the background information for what he wrote about many things is accurate, and yes, also shocking.

so be easy with your judgement about him.
