Does anyone have any information on the In-Focus Church in Augusta, GA? I am a divorced Dad with an ex-wife in a ministry postion in that church. I have noticed marked behavioural changes in my childrens actions and beliefs. I am now a Methodist that is going to "burn in hell".

(I won't address you by your screen name... hope you don't mind, hehe).

Were you actually told that? By whom? Your kids, your ex-wife, both?

And how was your relationship with your kids and ex-wife before they joined the church? Reason I ask is b/c it could be characterized as PAS (parental alienation syndrome) or some other related issue - in other words, it's your problem - and you could be told it has absolutely nothing to do with the church.

It was as good as divorced parents can be, I suppose. Over the last few years, my children have been pulled from public schooling and home schooled. My oldest now attends a private school at the church, where my ex also teaches. She is remarried, but he had no affiliations prior to this current cult experience. My children are constantly being minupalted to not see me. I had to take legal action to over come the mind games being played on them. We (the kids) have a good relationship, but the hassle, lack of objective thinking, and judgement continues.
