cultic behaviors are interesting.There is no real communication, just push and shove and subtle or no so subtle accusations. what i see from the sidelines without any emotional investment are the way the participants behave Yes logic class plays into it all... depending on ones logic.
Its funny how people percive whats going on
according to thier bias. True communication leads to resolution of conflicts... unhealthy behaviour perpetuates it ie... controling it. Voices must be heard, acountability must be taken,step to resolution must be laid out. The things people ague about are not the real issues,the real issues lay deeper below the surface. Thats why people see councelors, those who can facilitate
the journy to the core issues. Cultic churches really mess up familys. A family lives in a box, and siblings are pushed into differnt corners, those are the roles they play through thier lives. Samething with any group, you have those at the core who have the control, the lesser people are pushed into corners and marked.
Marking is labeling people... asigning motives etc... Its part of the control. A group of like minded find saftey living in a box, a controled enviroment, anything that poses a threat must be labled and discredited, swept up with the dust and discarded! Its impossable to defend oneself in a controled enviroment. Especilay if the ones you argue with refuse to see or ar incapable of seeing netral and impartial advice that can lead to resolution.
By refusing to seek help, they continue to control. There are so many healthy resorces, but they are discretited because they are not in the box! There comes a time when you must leave to get the healing that lies at the bottom of our issues. Im gonna go to a specialist for sugery...
if all ive got in my box is a mecanice im in trouble... esp if I belive that a mechanics what i need to remove my appendeix.

calv - good posting. You may not write postings as long as mine, but when you sit down and really decide to say something, you come up with some excellent stuff. I can tell you've learned some things on your journey.

Someday Ill get the spelling and punctuation down.
Writing has allways been a real struggle for me. I did the english class twice at cc... flunked both times! It was a real bummer. If you wern't and academic what could you be? Some pretty tough standards. But boy I could sure move in the spirit...
