Like the Lord would kill people for reporting the truth. On the contrary, He blesses people for telling the truth. So if telling the truth is "coming against him", then sobeit.

Tony's god is telling him a lot of things and, of course, since he has been totally out of touch with the God of the Bible for so long now, he believes the lies that his god is telling him and thinks it's God.

Just like he told everyone that God was telling him Jared was lying when Jared and some of those standing around knew Jared was telling the truth, but the great Tony Alamo said "God told him Jared was lying." We all know which god that was, don't we? Tony is still listening to the same god that told him he was going to kill those that come against him.

And this is what God says he will do with those that receive not the love of the truth but have pleasure in unrighteousness.

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Sounds like Tony Alamo to me.

Is Tony losing it? Or has he already lost it? Or did he ever have it? He's an expert faker/actor and promoter you know.

And by the way, I am not trying, nor would I ever try, to reason or carry on a conversation or debate with this pathological liar, Tony Alamo. There is no reasoning with a pathological liar. They are just going to lie some more because that is their greatest weapon.

It&#39;s just that whenever I hear of anything that Tony Alamo says I am going to refute it because I know that anything he has to say will not be sincere based on the Word. It will be a twisting of the Word for his own perverted gains.

When God sends someone strong delusion to believe a lie, as in the case of Tony Alamo, the majority of words from his mouth will be twisted lies. So when he says he&#39;s hearing from God, you know that&#39;s a lie right off the bat.

He will always try to use scare tactics, i.e., saying he&#39;s hearing from God and using God&#39;s name to back him.

He lies so much, he can&#39;t stand the truth and he can&#39;t stand to be exposed for the liar he really is.

At the top of the list of Tony Alamo&#39;s lies is him repeatedly saying that he only has ONE wife. For anyone who was still in the Foundation after Feb 1993 WE ALL KNOW that he was coercing through threats of eternal damnation multitudes of girls &#40;many of them underage&#41; to become his wives. Granted he did not go downtown and obtain a marriage license, but he did whisper a little marriage ceremony beofre he raped these terrified girls and then gave them a wedding ring and they moved into his household. He continues to proclaim that polygamy is sanctioned and commanded by God, but that he himself only has ONE wife even though he has had children by three of these women still living in his house. Such a pathological liar!!! He boasted numerous times back in 1993 and 1994 of his conquests to the whole congregation. After his sexual deviance became a topic at the IRS case in Memphis in 1994 he tried to put a lid on the information and told his followers not to tell the new converts when they first came in about his teachings and practicing polygamy. When he got out of jail at the end of 1998, according to eye witnesses, he started marrying 12 and 13 year old girls and even younger, all the while proclaiming that god told him to do it.
He is a megalomaniac, narcissistic, egotistical, lying old man. Anyone who believes anything he says is a fool.

Tommy Scarcello, shame on you for participating with Tony Alamo in stealing from the victims of Hurricane Katrina. You are up to your same old tricks and it is high time that your sins have found you out, just as the Bible says they would.

You all will remember that all throughout the late 1970&#39;s and 1980&#39;s Tommy Scarcello managed one of Tony&#39;s businesses called TCB Dist. &#40;Tennessee Country Boy Distributors&#41; I worked &#40;not paid, of course&#41; as Tommy&#39;s secretary in the early &#39;80&#39;s. I remember back in the early 1980&#39;s when Avon Cosmetics donated a semi-trailer load of cosmetics to one of the Foundation charities. After giving each of the girls in the church a little TINY bag of cosmetics and setting aside a very SMALL amount to take on visits to nursing homes, Tommy was getting ready to sell the semi-trailer load of Avon to Don Fox in Oklahoma City for $5,000. While filing the original paperwork I saw that Tony Alamo had made an agreement with Avon and signed that the Avon would be distributed to the needy and would NOT be sold. This bothered me and I assumed that a mistake was being made &#40;me still being deceived and thinking Tony was a man of God&#41;. I brought the information to Tommy and asked him how he could be selling this to Don Fox when Tony had signed an agreement that it wouldn&#39;t be sold. Tommy basically told me that Tony was aware of what was being done and that it was okay.....end of conversation. I knew this was wrong, but if the prophet of God was saying it was okay, it must be okay, right? I was quite confused since to me, Tony Alamo being a con-artist and liar was not something I could accept at the time.

Years later Tony Alamo developed Arm Full of Help, his tax-exempt charity so that he could scam people on a larger scale. He&#39;s gotten away with it for many years, but looks like justice may finally catch up to him.

Let it be noted that Tony occasionally had his followers give away a small portion of the merchandise to the needy or to nursing homes so that he could request letters of commendation and thanks from them. Then Tony would use those letters to extract MORE donations from unsuspecting business donors. See his website at armfullofhelp.org to view some of these letters of commendation. To Tony Alamo it&#39;s all about USING AND SCAMMING the innocent!!!

Ian...that man who Tony says dropped dead 4 times is none other than the Rev. Roger Mixon. Tony has repeatedly vilified Roger on his radio programs. Tony said Roger is hanging on by a thread and will not last long. Well, guess what?
Roger is alive and doing remarkable well. As a matter of fact, I have asked him to put his testimony in writing and I am going to ask www.alamoministrieswatch.org to put it on their website to give glory to God and also to show the world that Tony Alamo has no idea what he is talking about.

Roger had a doctor&#39;s appointment last Wednesday and the doctor told him he is a living miracle.

I am reluctant to make a new thread since there are already so many, but after just seeing the new article about the REAL Tony Alamo posted to www.alamoministrieswatch.org I am tempted to start a thread titled, &#34;Tony Alamo--The Impostor&#34;.
Definition: impostor &#40;also imposter&#41; - a person who pretends to be someone else in order to deceive others, esp. for fraudulent gain.

Just a joke here but maybe in future dictionaries when they give an example of the word &#34;impostor&#34; they will use Tony Alamo as a perfect example.

Tony pretended and implied for years that he worked with the Sammy Kaye band. He even had us come to his house on the Ridge and played the Sammy Kaye records for us where it says &#34;now Tony Alamo will sing with Judy Johnson&#34;. Such an imposter. I am going to see if I can find something i posted on Factnet a long time ago about that and submit it to the contact page on AlamoMinistriesWatch site and see if they&#39;ll post it along with that article.

We all know he is an impostor and posed as Harvey Cochran and other aliases when he was in hiding from the FBI for two years after he was charged with felony child abuse and then threatening a Federal judge.

We know his legal name is still Bernie Lazar Hoffman but he still goes by Tony Alamo in an attempt to confuse people.

He is a plagarizer, impostor, scam man, con-artist, rapist, pedophile, polygamist, seducer, adulterer, thief, liar and the list goes on................

Comrade Alamo, according to one of his tracts, claimed that he changed his name to Alamo due to the success of Italian-Americans who pursued a singing career. Alamo was born in Joplin, while the Tony Alamo that sang with Sammy Kaye was from Havana Cuba.

That means Tony Alamo was lying from the git go about the Sammy Kaye gig. Even before Crescent Hgts. He started feedin&#39; that line to the Carlos Ave. brothers and sisters. So, in reality, we had a pastor that was a bare-faced liar from the git go.

It was part of his self-exaltation, making all of us think he was at one time a big band pro singer. Sammy Kaye was one of the big time, no mickey mouse stuff. Way above Bernie&#39;s league.

I, for one, believed it but in the back of my mind I did always marvel at how he could&#39;ve gone from such a high caliber singer to the droning I heard him do over the years and also since there was such a huge difference between Sammy Kaye&#39;s Tony Alamo performance level and Bernie&#39;s.

Knowing now what a liar and deceiver he is, I wasn&#39;t at all surprised when I heard the truth about it. I&#39;m glad someone was able to come up with the real Tony Alamo by doing the research on Sammy Kaye&#39;s singers, the Kaydettes.

He was always trying to copy Elvis too. He thought he was so Elvis-like. Again, in the back of my mind I always thought, in your dreams Bernie. You&#39;re not even close. Talk about delusional.

Speaking of TA&#39;s idolatry quirks, Johnny Cash was probably right up there running Elvis a close second. How sad he chose not to focus on Jesus Christ and Him crucified, with a single eye and a contrite heart. Well, here&#39;s the way I see it now. Since he&#39;s been lying from the git go, and this is just one example; the claim to be the singer Tony Alamo in Sammy Kaye&#39;s orchestra when he, himself, knew all along that he wasn&#39;t that Tony Alamo. And then keep telling that lie down through the years.

How could he even be called of God to begin with? Would God call an imposter &#40;which is the same as a liar/deceiver&#41; to be the pastor over a flock? How do we know how many other lies he has told down through the years, during that time we were all still there? If he told one lie, do you think he would hesitate to tell other lies?

He has a history of puffing himself up over the pulpit telling how great he is, citing all his supposed accomplishments and exaggerating his alleged association with the stars. He had all the earmarks of someone building up their own image as someone to be looked up to, respected, feared and revered. So we would think God chose this big shot to be over us. I see it now as all part of his agenda to control everyone.

I remember the last service we ever went to. It was in that little church in Ft. Smith He talked exclusively about Tony Alamo and all his supposed accomplishments. It was so boring and tedious to sit there and listen to him ramble on about himself. We never heard the name Jesus once. It soon became obvious whose name was being lifted up and it sure wasn&#39;t the Lord Jesus.

Where did you get the info on the real Tony Alamo that sang with the Kaydettes? Would you, or someone, mind sharing it with the rest of us? I have researched that topic many times on the Internet with no results proving one way or the other.

I have heard several times others researched it also and came up with the same conclusion, that is, that the singer Tony Alamo of the Sammy Kaye orchestra is not the same person as the cult leader Tony Alamo.

I have heard this several times so I am not doubting it but would just like to see the evidence. All one has to do is post the link/s or cite the source of the research. That would settle it once and for all. This weekend I will visit my local library to see what I can come up with.

In the Wikipedia account of the cult leader Tony Alamo&#39;s early life, there is no mention of his involvement with big band leader Sammy Kaye and the Kaydettes.

It is doubtful that something as prestigious as that would be omitted. That certainly could be one red flag.

Tony and Sue were latent predators from the git go it appears. Tony has confessed his true love for Hollywood the city. Impressionable young people were drawn to Hollywood for the lottery chance of fame and fortune throughout the past decades, and came in groves in the 1960&#39;s when the drug culture was highlighted. So many beautiful women aspiring to hit the bigtime usually fell into porn, stripper/dancers and prostitution because in Hollywood beautiful women are a dime a dozen. Tony and Sue knew all this, so took full advantage of &#39;religious fear&#39; to corral the foundation members into slave labour as the 1970&#39;s rolled on, to enrich themselves, it sure does appear, in retrospect. They were true scumbags. Mr. and Mrs. Hollywood, cheaper than a dime a dozen. My perception, now that all the evidence is out and can see thru the glass more clearly.
